• Look at the texture of your stucco. Why is this important? This will determine the roller you'll need to paint. The greater the texture, the larger the nap you'll need on your roller. Plus, you'll need more paint overall. 
• Rather use a paint sprayer to paint your stucco? Yes! This will save time and sanity. Highly recommend. 
• Measure once, paint once: determine just how much paint you'll need by getting the square footage of the stucco surface needing to be painted and then add on additional 25% for paint as stucco is a thirsty surface.
